The 17 m. Kestrel features camber-changing flaps
that operate in conjunction with the ailerons,
airbrakes, drogue chute, water ballast and
retractable gear. The fuselage is a fiberglass
monocoque (not sandwich) for greater resilience
and pilot protection.
